Fresh Makeup || Ready For Spring

Hi everyone! Since the weathers starting to get nicer I thought it's about time to change up my makeup from vampy lip colours and darker smokey eyes to a much more natural, soft and dewy look. If you want to know how I achieved this look then please keep reading.

First I primed the skin with Benefits POREfessional, starting from the centre of my face where my pores are biggest and working outwards.

Then using Collection's Lasting Perfection Concealer I am using my ring finger and getting rid if the dark circles under my eyes and covering and blemishes it redness.

Next I am using one of my absolute favourite foundations, Rimmel's Wake Me Up in True Ivory and using that all over my face with the Real Techniques Buffing brush.

Then using a big fluffy brush I take a seeping of Rimmel's Stay Matte powder just through my T-Zone.

For bronzer I took my Real Techniques Contour brush and my Soleil Tan de Chanel and buffing that into the hollows of my cheeks and onto my temples for a sun kissed look.

I then used MUA's Mosaic Blush in English Rose with the PS Love blush brush from Primark to add some colour to my cheeks.

Using another contour brush by Real Techniques I took Mac's Lightscapade and used it to highlight my cheek bones and the high points of my face.

For eyeshadow I primed my eyes with primer sample that comes with the Naked 3 Palette and then used the shade Limit all over the lid and slightly above the crease and then using Burnout over the top from the middle of the lid to the outer corner. To add a touch of gold to the eyes I then patted Trick onto the center of my lid and took it slightly under my waterline.

Using Collection's Fast Stroke Eyeliner I created a small cat flick to add a bit more definition and drama to my eyes.

Then to add even more definition to my eyes I used Benefit's They're Real mascara.

So there you go, my ready for spring makeup look. I apologise for my bush like eyebrows, I'm growing them before I reshape them.

Hope you enjoyed, bye guys x

Spring Clear Out || Tips & Tricks

Hi everyone! I hope your all having a lovely Easter weekend, whatever you may be doing.

It feels like forever since I last posted, but I'm back with new ideas, and a proper schedule. I will be uploading new posts every Sunday and sometimes will throw an extra one in on a Wednesday if there's something I cannot wait to share with you all!

But let's move on to the reason you've all clicked on this post.

Now that spring is finally upon us, I thought it was about time I sort through the black hole that is my wardrobe and get rid of the things I don't wear anymore. If your anything like me then the idea of doing that makes you want to run a mile, but hey it's got to be done.

So I'm here to give you a few tips to make this somewhat tedious task a bit easier.

Mindset:

1. Be honest with yourself - you know
that dress is too big for you.

2. Be ruthless - if you don't wear it, find someone else that will.

3. Be organised - keep your yes and no piles away from each other, you don't want to get rid of the wrong thing!

Things to go:

1. Anything that's either too big or too small

2. Things you don't feel comfortable in

3. Things you don't feel confident

4. Anything you haven't worn in the last year - with exception to anything sentimental, outfits for special events or fancy dress

How to get rid of your old clothes

1. Take your bags of old clothes to charity shops

2. Use the bags that get posted through your doors from various charities and leave them somewhere for collection

3. Take them to clothes banks

I hope these tips have helped you get motivated to sort through your wardrobe ready for spring.
Let me know in the comments any tips you have.

Bye guys!
